Description
ETI Precision is looking for a talented Service (Repair) Technician to join its growing team in
Frederick, MD
! This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and great benefits. Service Technician evaluates, troubleshoots, repairs and calibrates a variety of test and measurement equipment. This critical equipment is maintained and periodically calibrated for conformance to established industry and customer standards. The Service Technician will work with Calibration Technicians, Assembly Technicians and Repair Specialists in servicing customer equipment as prioritized by senior management. This position reports to the Production Manager. The Service Technician is primarily responsible for supporting ETI calibration, assembly and repair/retrofit activities.

Office in
Frederick, MD and surrounding areas.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Evaluating units for repair, performing research for replacement components, creating repair estimates, and executing on approved repairs
Troubleshooting problems, adjusting and calibrating customer and ETI owned instrumentation and equipment
Managing customer engagements focused on complete and timely responses to inquiries and requests for action
Assisting Regional Service and Production Managers by supporting activities that drive timely turnaround of equipment
Assist in the assembly of ETI equipment as requested
Basic Qualifications:
At least two years of experience in a related field required - Electrical or mechanical calibration experience as well as military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training preferred
Basic technical knowledge of electronic principles to troubleshoot equipment calibration issues in the field.
Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment is required
Able to discuss technical issues common to the products and services ETI provides (verbally and in writing) with customers, suppliers and internal associates; (English language)
Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations throughout the United States as needed
Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background security check
