Sales Development Representative (ANZ)
Commvault is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will primarily
join our ANZ business
territory. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and can showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
Key Objectives:
Secure qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives by effectively articulating Commvault’s value proposition and aligning to customer pain points.
Drive meetings and opportunities through partner-led sales initiatives and marketing programmes
Develop deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in organisations to increase influence and alignment
Ensure consistent communication and collaboration across Commvault’s field sales, marketing, services, and global alliance teams
Measure and report on joint performance, identifying areas for optimisation and scale
How you will make an impact:
Generate Qualified Pipeline:
Consistently create high-quality sales opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting across the ANZ territory (calls, email, social).
Drive Meeting Conversion:
Secure qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives by effectively articulating Commvault’s value proposition and aligning to customer pain points.
Own Top-of-Funnel Execution:
Build and manage a strong pipeline of early-stage opportunities by identifying, engaging, and qualifying target accounts.
Research & Targeting Excellence:
Leverage data, intent signals, and account research to prioritize high-value prospects and personalize outreach strategies.
Deliver High Activity & Consistency:
Maintain a disciplined activity cadence (calls, emails, touches) to ensure consistent pipeline generation and territory coverage.
Ensure CRM & Pipeline Hygiene:
Accurately track all prospecting activities, lead progression, and opportunity data within Salesforce and engagement tools.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Alliances to align on campaigns, follow-ups, and account strategies.
Continuously Improve Conversion Rates:
Optimize messaging, objection handling, and outreach strategies to improve connect, qualification, and meeting-booked rates.
Who you are
Demonstrated

Experience in a SDR or sales related role is an advantage.
Bachelor’s Degree
Familiarity with Commvault products and a solid understanding of the SaaS landscape, with the ability to effectively communicate product features and benefit

Proficiency
in Microsoft Office, SFDC, and customer engagement
tools

Exceptional negotiation and customer engagement skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
